Here is our spiffy button maker!

Feel free to use any of this however you want, as long as somewhere there is a visible, noticeable credit. Just credit nicely and we're happy!

    INSTRUCTIONS: MAKE BUTTON HERE:
    EXAMPLE:

    1. Drag and drop the base that you want to use to a blank spot on the page.

    2. Do the same with the images and the letters, but place those actually on the button base.

    3. Once you are satisfied, press Print Screen (generally next to F12) or, if you are on an apple, OSX or later, open Grab and then select Capture >> Screen or Command Z. Then click the button, like it says. If you are using an apple before OSX, then click the apple on the toolbar at the far left (It's in the top left corner) and go to Speakable Items >> Take A Screen Picture. Or press Command (Apple) >> Shift >> 4. Once you have done it however suits your computer, save it as mybutton.jpg or something along those lines, then take it onto your favorite graphics or image editing program and remove all the stuff around it, so that the image is either 88x31 if you used a big button or 88x15 if you used a small one. Save it in jpg or png format, and gif too I think.

    4. Upload it to somewhere such as TinyPic.com or ImageShack.us You can also use other image hosting sites if you have an account.

    5. Copy and paste the following code where you want your button. Change BUTTON URL to the actual URL you were supplied for your button (begins with http:// ) and SITE URL to the acutal URL of your site, or wherever you want this button to link to. (begins with http:// )

    6. ENJOY!

To Use on Your Graphics Program

Save the above image to your computer, and then open it up in any graphics program that you would like, and then just cut out what you want and stick it together as if you were using the above blinkie maker stuff! If you want to make ALL of the white to go away and be clear, then, at least I know you can do this on Gimp, you go to Filter>>Color>>Color to Alpha, then make sure the color is white, click ok, and then all of the white is GONE! TA DA!
