Every person who owns a website should be an expert on coding tables! They are the foundation for many layouts, templates, and other things, and without a basic understanding it would be very difficult to run a website. So let's begin!

These are the basics of coding tables. There are many more things you can do with them, but these are the things you must start with!

The first thing you need to do is to begin your table, by typing the following code:

<table>

Next, you need to add a row to your table, by adding the following code:

<tr>

Your entire code should now look like this:

<table> <tr>

Next you need to add a column, with this code:

<td>

Then type in whatever you want. After that, you need to close the column cell:

</td>

Your entire code should look like this now:

<table> <tr> <td>whatever</td>

You can continue adding
<td>whatever</td>
until you have the number of columns in your row as you want. Then, when you are done, you can close the row with
</tr>.
You can continue adding as many rows as you want in the same manner. When you are satisfied, make sure to close your table with
</table>.

If my final code for my table looked like this:
