Plugboards 101

So what is a plugboard? A plugboard is a site that allows you to add a backlink to your site, with a banner, for free. The plugboards allow a certain number of people to post your links, and then the banners are bumped off. It's simple and free advertising.

The most effective way to advertise with plugboards is to cover the most area; hop around to every single board you can find. There are also several more popular plugboards that will deliver more traffic. Also, I recommend having a plugboard on the site that you are promoting, and mentioning it in the banner. Addind a Plugboard to your Website
There are really two routes for this; scripts that you host, and scripts that someone else hosts for you. It's generaly better to host your own script as that way, you don'thave to link to your host.
